Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. Andy has two sons, Matt and AJ along with his wife is Sandy.
He received his Master of Divinity degree at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana in May 2005 and was ordained as a Disciples of Christ Minister at First Christian Church in Griffin in 2005.
